What changes when you finish the book
Guessing, and paying for it.
- Three treatments and two “peptides” on one quote, and no way to tell which were ever tested
- A monthly price, and no idea what the same treatment costs anywhere else
- Told it’s too late for HRT, or too risky, without a single number
- Nodding through the appointment, then searching at midnight
Deciding for yourself.
- A grade for every option: Strong, Moderate, Weak or Marketing-only
- The price by four routes, in dollars and in pounds
- The risk figures per 10,000 women, and where the window for starting sits
- A script for the appointment, and a written record to leave with

Does any of this sound familiar?
You deserve numbers, not a sales pitch or a scare story. This book puts every option side by side: what the trials found, what it costs, and what to ask.
- You’re waking at 3 a.m., hot, and then lying awake.
- A clinic has offered you a peptide “stack” for $285 a month.
- You were told HRT was dangerous, or too late, and nobody showed you a number.
- Your feed says BPC-157 and sermorelin will fix your joints and your sleep.
- You leave appointments with more questions than answers.
What the research says
Every key claim in the book carries a tag showing where the evidence comes from. Here are four of them.
peptides are approved to treat a menopause symptom in the US or the UK. Not for hot flashes, sleep, mood, desire, joints, skin or energy.
of women still had troublesome hot flashes at six months on an HRT patch, against placebo.
beat every pill and supplement it was compared with for broken sleep. The “deep sleep” peptide sermorelin was tested and did not improve sleep.
a year for HRT in England with the prepayment certificate, or about $23 a month in the US for generic tablets with a coupon.
A year of HRT can cost less than two days of a clinic peptide
That’s the comparison in England. In the US, generic hormones cost less than sermorelin at every price the book found. Prices were read on 10 October 2026.
UK: one clinic charged £350 a month for a single peptide in 2026. HRT on the prepayment certificate is £19.80 a year in England, and free in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Shown for comparison only, not as a recommendation for or against any treatment.

Questions, answered
Does the book tell me to take HRT?
No. It describes what the trials found, the risks in plain numbers and who is most likely to benefit, so you can decide with your clinician.
Didn’t the FDA approve peptides in 2026?
No. In July 2026 an advisory committee voted to back six peptides, against the advice of the FDA’s own scientists. The vote was advisory. By October 2026 none could lawfully be compounded. Appendix E dates every rule.
Is it for the US or the UK?
Both. Prices and access routes are given for each.
How long is it?
83 pages, as a PDF. It opens on any phone, tablet or computer. The tables and charts are easiest to read on a tablet or computer, or zoomed in on a phone.
